Morris Callaman

Naturally candid and generally caffeinated, Morris Callaman founded Callaman Ventures and Callaman Law after leading over a billion dollars in transactions spanning North America, Asia, Australia and the European Union. To date a four-time startup founder with Global 500 experience, Mr. Callaman has come to understand rapid change and himself via financings, restructurings, and new ventures.

Formerly a Principal of Capgemini Ernst & Young, Mr. Callaman specializes in a collaborative, co-foundering approach, working with entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and institutional investors to build great companies. In his 20 year career, Mr. Callaman has learned to lead change, adapt to thrive, and fail quickly whenever necessary.

A triple alum of Arizona State University, Mr. Callaman holds an Engineering degree from the Fulton School of Engineering, Executive MBA from the Carey School of Business, and Juris Doctor from the O’Connor College of Law. He studied law in Tokyo with Temple University’s Beasley School, as well as continuing business education with Harvard Business School in Boston.

Mr. Callaman was also an eighth grade runaway and, as such, has been active in related public work. His background further includes homelessness, food banks, ditch digging, carpentry, community college, night school, programming, language study, and a brief apprenticeship with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local Union 640.

Mr. Callaman credits his success to his son, the Sun, and such illuminating groups as the Prometheus Society.
